The doctors and staff at Bartels and Busack Pet Hospital and Pet Resort are dedicated to the care and health of our guests. We have a staff of veterinarians who have over 46 years of experience in animal care. We have been a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1986, which provides the highest standards of medical care for veterinary hospitals in the United States.  We carefully screen the medical history of every guest to ensure they have the healthiest and happiest stay at our facility. Our staff undergoes weekly continuing education on the care and safety of pets to provide the most modern health care of any facility. Our guests must meet our standards of practice for both health and temperament before they stay with us at the resort.

In the event of an emergency, they will contact you, your veterinarian of record, and/or your designated emergency contact.  If a life threatening emergency which requires immediate care, all guests will transferred to our veterinary hospital only steps away.

Bartels Busack Pet Resort is especially equipped to handle guests who have special medical needs or seniors. We can provide the administration of oral or topical medications at an additional cost. Guests who have more extensive medical needs (injections, dental care, wellness blood testing, vaccines, exams, etc.) can easily be accommodated at our full service facility, saving you, the owner, time and money.  A written estimate will be given to every owner requesting additional services.
