We offer Digital Radiographs (x-rays), which require 60 seconds to develop and is the same technology used in the largest human hospital in Northeastern Ohio. This new technology allows us to manipulate the radiograph so that it can be enlarged five times greater than the original view; and the image can be lightened or darkened as needed. Exact measurements can be taken of any object or organ. It provides greater detail, and disorders can be detected earlier in the disease process (including cancer). Radiographs can be sent via the internet to a specialist anywhere in the world or they can be burned on a CD for you to view at home.

The ability to manipulate the radiograph, means there is less need for repeat x-rays and there is less radiation exposure to our patients. This also allows for shorter x-ray procedures, which is much less stressful on the patient.

Digital radiography is a green technology. It uses no x-ray film which ends up in landfills. There are no hazardous developing chemicals which require extensive treatment to remove from the water supply.  There is no additional waste to take multiple images therefore there is less waste placed into the environment.

We also do digital dental radiographs. 85% of dental disease is located under the gum tissue which cannot be seen on a routine exam.  Digital dental radiographs are safer for the patient because they can be done rapidly which reduces the amount of time under anesthesia.
