What brands of food do you recommend for my dog/cat?

We recommend premium brands of pet food, which include Purina ProPlan,Iams/Eukanuba, Science Diet, and Royal Canin. Please avoid store brand pet foods, including Old Roy. Many cheaper brands of pet foods do not have high quality protein sources and include many grains as fillers. They also have less fatty acids, antioxidants, and inappropriate levels of minerals.

If your pet has a specific condition that requires it, we may recommend a veterinary diet instead. Your doctor will discuss nutrition with you as part of a routine exam and make recommendations on an individual basis.
